The East Bay Impeach Bush June Meeting

Dear Friends,

This meeting will take place 3 days after the California primary. We will assess how our write-in candidates did, and how our Democratic challengers made out, Shirley Golub vs. Nancy Pelosi, and Mitch Clogg vs. Mike Thompson.

We will then strategize on how best to focus the ongoing Congressional races on the issue of impeachment. If we have no primary victories, we still have Greens, Independents and Peace and Freedom candidates on the November ballot in the Bay Area. We are challengers who are not beholden to corporations, who understand the havoc Bush and Cheney have wreaked on our country and our planet, and are prepared to bring the criminals to justice and clean up their mess.

Come to our meeting. Let's put our heads together, for the sake of our grandchildren.

1) Introductions
2) Assessment of current situation re impeachment, given the primary results.
3) Reports - on Candi ( CA impeachment candidates), plans for a workshop at the National Green Convention in July, others.
3) Assessment of presidential race and how it affects the prospects for impeachment
4) Update on our candidates- how we can best support one another.
5) Internal IBC issues
