Who Attended

It's estimated that 103 people attended.

  • Alyce Ramsey
"Well done; informative. Made a good case for impeachment."

  • Tracy Blevins, Ph.D.
"Glad to see the speakers, hated the fact that the question and answer session turned out to be such grandstanding with few questions."

  • Mary Ann Maikish
"I felt that the information given was already out there--preaching to the choir!!! Ms Holtzman although extremely knowledgeable about the legalities of the impeachment issues was closed to considering other possible impeachment issues for fear of being labeled as an extremist---once those of us who opposed this war were considered extremists!!!! Cindy Sheehan was also preaching to the choir and although time was limited, she cut off a person who had some very important information regarding the electronic voting machines issues in NY. I was pleased with the group I signed up with afterwards--East Side Maloney--and hope we can have an effect on the apathy surrounding this issue. "

  • Richard Derespina
"Disappointed about the turn out, but the speakers were wonderful. I feel there needs to be more direction on what to do to fulfill this quest. I will definitely keep in touch and will sign the petitions etc, but I am looking for a more effective and active way to assist. "

"The speakers were all great, making attendance worthwhile. I wished the hall full to capacity, but was not - a gauge of the public interest in the subject. "

  • Bev Rice
"I thought the speakrs were very good. However, when the Q&A began. so many people lined up, most gave long pieces of their own agendas, NOT questions to be discussed. I was interested in the break up groups that were to have followed the Q&A but needed to leave before this began."

  • Joan Bennett
"It was a privilege to meet Ms. Sheehan. Ms. Holtzman's disassociation from the words of a gentleman who raised the 911 conspiracy issue were extremely upsetting, as there are many legal issues which point to criminal activity as great as those which might result from the illegal war case she puts forth in the ?Impeach Bush? effort.? Throwing a bunch of bad boys out of the club and into jail has been done. It doesn?t work long term. They resurface, returning, because they have a focus and a long-term plan The 911 events surely hold G. Bush and Co. accountable for unanswered questions as well as their lack of ability to protect the homeland itself. This fierce spark should not be pushed under the table.. I believe a creative agenda for unification of all led by Constitutional law would set an inspired and enlightened direction on a path towards a far more civilized Ascension. Joan Bennett "

  • Amanda
"We all agree on impeachment. More time needs to be spent on getting more people aware of the need for impeachment before 2008! I'll see what is recommended tomorrow at Fordham. "

"Good start, grass roots are important. I was surprised to hear that polls already show more than 50% favor impeachment. But some of the comments showed a lack of understanding of judicial process. Bush has lined up some fall guys, for instance Tenet, and the hearings will show that Tenet did what he was told to do. How will they do that? Because a lot of people are just waiting their chance to tell that story, and now they will have the chance. Bush won't be able to punish them, because if he punishes someone for telling the truth under subpoena to Congress, that would be witness tampering, and another nail in his impeachment coffin."

  • Aaron
"Excellent organizing, speakers great, good time had by all, the bush is quaking in his cowboy boots/"

  • Rosemary Faulkner
"I think those supporting impeachment need to better address the views of the many who think that Bush may deserve it, but it is not the right move at the moment al least."

  • Nick Lento
    "Good Job Bob! Thanks!"

  • Bill Perry
"Cindy & Liz were great, Bob was on point, acoustics were decent. Only problem I had were the ego tripping folks at the mic, during Q&A. What's so damn hard about framing a question, w/o spouting off about oneself?"
