Three friends of mine joined us for lunch (my son and his partner stopped in briefly as well). George, his wife Bernice and Pat heard about the MeetUp and joined in the discussion. (George is a veteran of the Spanish Civil War and WWII.) It was decided that third Saturdays are more convenient for future gatherings. June 21st is on the schedule but a conflict for me (I'll rejoin the group in July). Thanks for those who showed, sorry to miss tentative members today. VOTE in November!

There's no planned agenda for the meeting. Since most will be new participants, I would expect introductions and an assessment of a general consensus. (It's not my meeting.) What do you want to get out of it? || Have you interests or activities? I plan to participate in a noon anti-war rally, held weekly at the DeKalb Farmers' Market before the MeetUp.
